Designing the Journal Layout
The home page, article page and publications list were rebuilt from the Illustrator mockups in designs/.
The three mockups in designs/ define the visual language: the Outfit typeface,
#1F1F1F ink on white, hairline rules and rounded picture frames.
Key specs
- Header: 52pt Outfit SemiBold with a 4pt rule across the full width
- Masthead: 70pt "Produce" with a 32pt tagline on the same row
- Latest article picture: 1174 × 453 px, 3pt stroke, 36 px corner radius
Every page in css/style.css follows these numbers directly.
